Deck the Halls

In addition to recycled pumpkins, we have other fully seasonal decorations as well.

Santakins

The dishes are cleaned up and the turkey leftovers are all gone, but the pumpkins aren’t quite ready to call it quits, so they’ve gone undercover.

Hey Dad! Look what I did!

Memorial Day

20070528_0867We have a neighborhood of our own.

We have a neighborhood pool of our own.

We probably even had a Memorial Day barbeque at that pool in our neighborhood.

The problem is, the Ruckers don’t live in our neighborhood, and really, what is a neighborhood Memorial Day barbeque without the Ruckers?

Happy Easter

In the spirit of the pending Easter Eggs hunts slated for Sunday morning, I’ve uploaded lots of “new” pictures. Instead of a handy dandy link, I’m going to let you roam through the gallery searching for them.

Happy Hunting!

Easter Sunday

* WPG2 CANNOT LOCATE GALLERY2 ITEM ID 1473 *

Easter Sunday started out overcast and forboding. We worried our dinner invitations to an Easter Barbeque would be rained out. But the sun came out and warmed up a perfect day. After baking up a batch of cookies for our hosts, I wandered around the backyard with my camera capturing some spring details and getting to know my backyard. Yes, kinda corny, but I needed to say more than “went out back and played with camera” or else the picture & text won’t line up right on the webpage.

p.s. We had a wonderful time at the BBQ and learned a thing or two about grilling from a true master. Unfortunately, I must have been too much in awe of our host’s grill skills to take any pictures at all. Well, that, and our hostess kept giving me Smithwicks.
