Logan’s last hair cut was about the third week of September. Just before fall school pictures. After that he wanted to grow his hair – not because he was scared of haircuts, but because he wanted to grow his hair “like Nana’s.” I’m not sure what he had in mind, because Nana’s hair has been permed for the last 30 years, but we complied with his wishes and kept the scissors from his scalp.
Then, suddenly, a few days before Easter (late March, this year), Logan announced to Daddy that he wanted a hair cut. I thought maybe daddy talked him into it. But Logan stuck with it. On Easter Sunday, we let Aunt Amy know about his change of heart and he was thrilled. We didn’t rush into anything in case he changed his mind, but he didn’t change his mind. The new shorter short length was also all his idea.
